When I started going through Conversations on Purpose with Jeannie as my life coach, I was overwhelmed by the dovetail of major transitions in my life. I was looking at quitting my job, finding a new one, and contemplating a major move and marriage. The weight of all these decisions at once was making it difficult for me to discern God's purpose and plans for my life.
The Lord used Jeannie mightily to keep me focused on His desires and plans for my life. With Jeannie's help I was able to come up with a step by step plan in how to keep my career plan on track as she continually reminded me that "You can only eat an elephant one bite at a time." I was tempted to take a job in another direction, and Jeannie kept me on course, re-directing me to my dream of licensure and private practice as an art therapist.
Additionally at 37, never having been married, I was having some difficulty navigating through old issues and resultant dysfunction in my relationship with my then boyfriend, who is now my fiance. Jeannie gave examples from her own life, gave prayerful insights and encouragement accompanied by powerful scripture, and recommended relevant books on engagement and marriage. I largely credit Jeannie with keeping my relationship on track. My fiance and I are getting married in the Spring and I am so grateful for how the Lord used Jeannie to help me keep my eye on the prize even when things were difficult.
